Live Music & Entertainment
The Unicoi County Apple Festival features two entertainment stages showcasing outstanding talent throughout the weekend. One stage highlights a variety of music genres with dynamic headlining artists, while the second stage is dedicated to gospel and Christian music. From high-energy performances to uplifting favorites, live entertainment is a cornerstone of the festival experience.
Apple Festival 4-Mile Road Race & 3K Race Walk
Runners and walkers take to the streets of downtown Erwin for this high-energy race that kicks off day 2 of the festival. It’s competitive, fun, and full of community spirit.
Apple Cooking Contest
From homemade apple pies to creative sweet treats, contestants bring their best apple-inspired recipes for judging and prizes. It’s a delicious display of tradition and culinary talent.
Apple Decorating Contest
Young artists showcase their creativity by transforming ordinary apples into imaginative works of art. This event highlights the talent and enthusiasm of our community’s youth.
Blue Ridge Pottery Show & Sale
Collectors and pottery enthusiasts from all over the world enjoy this celebrated showcase of Erwin’s historic Blue Ridge Pottery.
Kids’ Activities & Family Fun
The Apple Festival is designed for all ages, with activities and experiences that keep our youngest guests smiling all weekend long.
